The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity is the principal charity of the Royal Navy. They support sailors, marines and their families, for life.
Service people and their families are at the heart of everything the RNRMC does and it is essential that they know all the ways in which the RNRMC is there for them.
We kicked off our work with RNRMC in 2022, with HRH The Princess Royal, the charity’s patron, opening The Gosport Community Hub for naval families. The community hub received national coverage across multiple television networks, radio and print outlets.
We also have been busily working with RNRMC on the promotion of their upcycled bag collection, which is for sale on their website. This project is a real labour of love and a clever display of innovation and sustainability. They’ve partnered with the Royal Navy and youth charity Oarsome Chance to launch a brand-new fundraising project: transforming decommissioned Royal Navy life rafts into a remarkable collection of handbags, sports bags and wallets.
They’ve sold out multiple times already, were a finalist for not one, but two awards at the #NationalRecyclingAwards2023 and are well on their way to gaining the Charity well deserved recognition for their creativity and resourcefulness.
