The social enterprise helping to get vulnerable women back into work and education.
Women’s Business Station in Dundee sets up new arm to help people affected by mental health, addiction and crime.
A new social enterprise in Dundee is aiming to get vulnerable women back into work and education.
Women’s Business Station received £10,000 funding from the Government’s Tampon Tax Community Fund for a project aimed at empowering women supported by four Dundee charities. It aims to provide a free service to charities supporting women affected by mental health, alcohol and substance abuse, and crime. The idea is to build confidence, self-belief and skills to support them into volunteering, education or employment and work experience.
