Goodwork’s Policy

At Goodwork we make the important interesting, and to ensure we’re speaking to the right audiences we collect the information of those who may benefit from our services. We want you to know that we will never sell or trade this personal information in any way with any other organisation. Online, we do connect with some widgets and platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter and Google Analytics, that are commonly found on websites. We encourage you to go over your own profiles to ensure you’re only sharing what you’re comfortable with. You can find out how to do that here

We’ve updated our own Privacy Policy to include detailed information on when we collect personal information, how we use it, and the efforts we take to ensure it stays secure.

The Information We Use

Email

We are journalists who understand PR, and part of our job is connecting with journalists on behalf of our clients. This is how we keep journalists up to date about the important work our clients are doing. We maintain up to date lists of relevant email addresses and only keep what information is necessary to continue these relationships. Our lists are stored securely with encryption and dutifully maintained by our Account Manager, Sarah Mann. If you’re an active journalist who would like to be added to our lists, or would like your information changed/removed from our lists please do get in touch, info@thisisgoodwork.org.

Social Media

Goodwork maintains a dynamic social media presence on all platforms for ourselves and occasionally for our clients. Compelling content relies heavily on video and photos to connect with people. The posts we make or share that include images have either been previously posted publicly and we have credited the original source, or we have explicit consent to post. If you see an image that belongs to you and would like us to take it down, please get in touch via the relevant platform or email us at info@thisisgoodwork.org.

Cookies

Like most websites, thisisgoodwork.org uses cookies to collect information.  Cookies are small data files which are placed on your computer or other devices (such as smartphones or ‘tablets’) as you browse this website. They are used to ‘remember’ when your computer or device accesses our website. This includes information about pages viewed, your general location, and your user journey around our website. If you want to disable cookies you need to change your website browser settings to reject cookies, this information can be found in your browser Preferences.

When someone visits thisisgoodwork.org we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to various parts of our site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

At Goodwork we take privacy seriously and will continually review and update our privacy practices as necessary to ensure our work continues to be done efficiently and with integrity. If you have any concerns regarding our privacy policy we’re happy to talk. You can reach us at +44 020 8747 1488 or info@thisisgoodwork.org.
