Patrick Padget founded Creative Change, one of the UK’s most effective design and marketing agencies. He ran it successfully for twenty-five years, winning many prestigious awards and working with clients including Cancer Research UK, The BBC, The NHS, Legal & General, Shell, The Royal Shakespeare Company, The Department of Education Education Department, The British Heart Foundation, The Natural History Museum and BT.
Patrick has been deeply involved with many projects helping to build partnerships between corporations and campaigning organisations that help people from disadvantaged backgrounds improve their lives. In doing so he has supported businesses in the fulfilment of their corporate social responsibility goals. Among his ‘stand out’ achievements have been:
Working with OneLondon and BT to help disadvantaged people in Brixton and Southwark learn how to use the internet to discover vital information about health, education, food, work opportunities and culture.
Launching the UK’s most successful health education campaign, “Breaking the Sound Barrier” for the RNID (now the charity ‘Action on Hearing Loss’) which was supported by Barclays Bank.
A ground-breaking campaign in Devon & Cornwall, persuading many thousand of young mothers to take up basic skills training.
Working with Marks & Spencer to create opportunities for disadvantaged children.
As a part of his work with the Cancer Research UK, Patrick persuaded The Eden Project to giving one of their mini pods over to a specially designed information robot, S.I.R (Science Information Robot) for six months where it delivered important messages about the disease and the work of the charity to a potential audience of over 200,000 visitors.
